The AvaMix BL2K482J 2 hp 48 oz. commercial blender with keypad controls combines raw power and maximum versatility to perform in a variety of establishments. With its 2 hp, 1500W motor and heavy-duty stainless steel blade assembly, this blender provides the power you need to easily crush through ice, to blend mixed drinks, smoothies, house-made spreads or salsa, and anything else you can throw at it! This unit is great for serving up refreshing beverages at a juice or smoothie bar, or churning out mixed drinks at a pub or restaurant.
The easy-to-use keypad features three speed settings to provide precision control, making it easy to adapt to different recipes. For additional convenience, the pulse button provides a quick and easy way to throttle the unit on high speed. Use this feature when you need quick bursts of power to finish off a recipe, break up chunky ingredients, or clear the blade area. Plus, the easy-to-use membrane touchpad features indicator lights to quickly see and set the speed of the blender.
This blender includes (2) 48 oz. Eastman Tritan™ jars for optimal durability. Each jar allows the unit to handle frequent blending in large batches and is clear to allow for product visibility during the blending process. The 2-piece lid even makes it possible to add ingredients at any stage in the mixing process by simply removing the clear inner lid and pushing the additional ingredients down into the jar with the tamper. By having two jars on hand, you can prepare ingredients in one while the other is in use on the blender. This helps cut the time between batches, speeding up service and increasing efficiency.
The blender is made with a sleek and sturdy ABS plastic base, which looks great on any counter and holds up in commercial environments. It also includes non-skid feet to prevent any sliding around during operation. The smooth membrane touchpad even eliminates ridges, making it easy to clean. A 120V electrical connection is required for operation.

Good blenders! When my bar needed new ones, I took a chance on 2 of these and I was pleasantly surprised. For the price and free shipping they are definitely worth it. I think it's best features are the power and shock stabilization.
