Over time, it is natural for the drive coupling on a blender to wear out from constantly running at high speeds as you chop, emulsify, and crush ingredients. If you notice that the blender is not operating correctly check drive system components like the blade assembly and the drive coupling for wear or damage, and make any needed repairs. It is designed for use with AvaMix commercial blenders.

When you make a significant investment, you want to have on hand the things that will wear over time. On the very same day that purchased my first Avamix BX2100E, I purchased this, because put into simple terms this part is where the Road meets the Metal. It takes more abrasion than any other part with the exception of the blades, so in fact I know that it was a matter of time before I would need this part, and I do not want to be in the predicament of paying expedited charges to get it the next day and needed to be ordered prior to 2 PM.
