The AvaMix BL2VS2J 64 oz. commercial blender with toggle controls and a variable speed dial delivers the power and versatility needed in a blender that will reliably churn out smoothies and frozen cocktails at busy bars or restaurants. With its 2 hp, 1500W motor and heavy-duty stainless steel blade assembly, this blender provides the power you need to crush through ice, to blend mix drinks, smoothies, house-made spreads or salsa, and anything else you can throw at it!

Operating the blender's toggle control panel couldn't be easier. A simple toggle switch with "On" and "Off" settings delivers or cuts power to the blender. The variable speed dial in the center of the control panel gives you the most precise control over the speed of the blender, taking the guesswork out of your drink recipes and making it easy for staff at all levels of experience to operate. And when you need quick bursts of power to finish off a recipe or to clear the blade area, the pulse button provides a quick and convenient way to throttle the unit on high speed.

The 64 oz. BPA-free Eastman Tritan™ jar provides maximum durability and allows the model to handle frequent blending in medium to large volumes. Your blender comes with 2 of them so you can swap out the jar and keep working without having to stop and clean between orders. The 2-piece lid design makes it possible to add ingredients to the blender at any stage in the mixing process, simply by removing the clear inner lid and pushing the additional ingredients down into the jar using the included tamper. A sleek and sturdy ABS plastic base looks great on any bar counter while also making it easy to clean. For added convenience, the jar pad is dishwasher safe, but the jar should be washed by hand for maximum product life. This blender includes a 3 1/2' power cord and requires a 120V electrical connection.

For the best results we recommend blending only fresh or partially thawed frozen fruit. If using completely frozen fruit, we suggest a ratio of 1 ¼ parts liquid to 1 parts frozen fruit on high speed.
Due to ginger's hard and fibrous texture, it is not recommended to use this blender to chop whole pieces of ginger. Instead, it is advised to use a knife or box grater to mince the ginger before adding it to the blender jar.
Yes, although we suggest chopping or mincing garlic before adding it to the blender jar for the most consistent blending results.
For best results, we do not recommend using this blender to make hummus. This blender is designed for creating various drinks, juices, smoothies, soups, and sauces such as salsa. We suggest using an AvaMix batch bowl food processor for making hummus.
For proper blending, load the jar with liquid and soft ingredients on the bottom and hard and frozen ingredients on top to avoid cavitation and ensure a consistent and smooth texture. For heavy-duty food blending, pulse the blender several times to quickly incorporate the ingredients and then switch to a constant blending speed.
Due to the metal construction of their drive components, blender jars are a hand wash only item. They should not be run through a dishwasher, and care should be taken to avoid directly spraying the bottom of the container with a high pressure pre-rinse faucet. For best results, clean the bottom of the jar with a washcloth and a mild detergent or sanitizer when needed.

Excellent blender at great price! We use this for blended coffee drinks and smoothies and it works great. I really like that the speed is adjusted with a dial so you can gradually increase/decrease. The extra container is also nice so the next drink can be prepped while blending or rinsing the other container.

This is an excellent blender. It's got plenty of power and the variable speed dial is the best part because you can "slow-start" your job so that it doesn't splash even with the top open. We got the extra container which is way cheaper to buy upfront than as a replacement.
